- String/Twine

Instructions

Step 1: Make the birdseed mixture.

1. Combine the birdseed, gelatin, and water in a large bowl.

Step 2: Pour the mixture into the cookie cutters.

1. Place a piece of parchment paper on a flat surface.

2. Place the cookie cutters on the parchment paper.

3. Scoop the birdseed mixture into the cookie cutters.

4. Press the mixture down firmly so that it fills all of the corners and crevices of the cookie cutters.

5. Let the mixture dry for several hours or overnight.

Step 3: Remove the ornaments from the cookie cutters.

1. Gently twist and pull the cookie cutters away from the ornaments.

2. Be careful not to break the ornaments.

Step 4: Thread the ornaments with twine.

1. Thread the twine through one of the holes at the top of each ornament.

2. Double-knot the twine to secure it in place.

Step 5: Hang the ornaments.

1. Hang the ornaments from trees, bushes, or anywhere else you like.

2. Enjoy watching the birds enjoy your homemade birdseed Christmas ornaments!
