How to Remove a Stuck Lawn Mower Blade

1. Disconnect the spark plug wire. This will prevent the lawn mower from starting while you are working on it.

2. Turn the blade bolt counterclockwise to loosen it. You may need to use a wrench or impact wrench to break the bolt free.

3. If the blade bolt is still stuck, tap it gently with a hammer. Be careful not to damage the threads on the bolt.

4. Once the blade bolt is loose, remove it and take off the lawn mower blade. Inspect the blade for damage and replace it if necessary.

5. Reinstall the lawn mower blade and blade bolt. Tighten the blade bolt clockwise until it is snug.

6. Reconnect the spark plug wire.
