Directions for Buzzy Seeds Grass Growing Kits

The Georgia-based company Buzzy markets a line of cat grass-growing kits called Munakuppis. The set comes with a soil pellet, seeds, and a plastic container that fits into a ceramic pot, which is also included in the kit. The planters are in the shape of different Munakuppi characters. A cow wearing black sneakers and a seal with a green necktie are two of the 12 options available. Buzzy guarantees the viability of the seeds, which take five to seven days to germinate. All you need to do is to follow the kit's simple growing instructions.

Instructions

      Heat up 1 cup of water until it is lukewarm, around 100 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

      Place the soil pellet in a cup, and pour in the lukewarm water. Let the soil absorb the water for the next five minutes.

      Fluff the soil with a fork to separate the particles.

      Transfer three-fourths of the soil to the kit's plastic container.

      Broadcast the grass seeds uniformly over the soil surface.

      Cover the seeds with the remaining fourth of the soil.

      Irrigate the soil with a spray bottle to prevent overwatering the seeds. Repeat this step whenever the soil surface begins to dry.

      Place the plastic container inside the ceramic pot. Move the planter to a sunny area.

      Use a pair of sharp scissors to cut the grass back to 4 inches whenever it exceeds that height. Keep the planter in full sun, and in a place where your cat can enjoy munching on the greens.
