Look up the part numbers for the replacement parts you will need in the grill owner's manual.
Note any codes specific to your parts. Many General Electric components are marked by an additional product code which indicates their color and whether they are for use in electric or gas grills.
Consult your warranty to determine if your grill is still covered. Most GE products are sold with a two-year limited warranty.
Contact GE customer support if your grill is under warranty. Explain the situation and ask if your parts will be covered.
Order the parts from an after-market retailer if the warranty on your grill has expired or if your situation is not covered. Because GE components are used in a number of different grills, your part might be referred to with an alternate part number. Check compatibility with the retailer before making your purchase.
