Instructions for Ryobi BTS15

If you need to saw larger pieces of wood, like plywood, the Ryobi BTS15 table saw is perfect for the job. The BTS15 is an electric saw that rests on four legs and has a circular blade that spins on an arbor. The BTS15 can make a number of different cuts that are difficult to make with other saws including cross cuts, bevel cross cuts, straight rip cuts and dado cuts. Operating the Ryobi BTS15 is a straightforward process

Instructions

    • 1

Adjust the blade depth by twisting the depth knob to the left to lower it or to the right to raise it.

    • 2

Lift up on the bevel lock lever to unlock it and then turn the bevel lever until the blade is set at the angle you want to cut at. Lock the bevel lever once you have selected the angle you wish to use.

    • 3

Place saw horses or another type of support behind the saw to support the wood after it is cut.

    • 4

Plug in the saw and then slip the switch key into the switch hole. Flip the switch key up to the "on" position. Let the saw come to full speed and then feed the wood into the blade.

    • 5

Turn the saw to the "off" position after the cut is made and then make sure the blade has stopped spinning all the way before removing the wood you have cut.

    • 6

Remove the switch key and unplug the saw when you have finished working.
