• 1 cup (12 ounces) of strong brewed coffee (or an espresso shot if you’ve got an espresso machine)
• 1/4 cup homemade pumpkin puree
• 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
• (more or less depending on your desired level of sweetness)
• 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
• 1/8 teaspoon of cloves
• 1 1/2 cups frothed homemade oat milk (store-bought works too)
• Whipped cream, for topping (a must)
• Pumpkin pie spice and/or cinnamon, for sprinkling on top (optional but recommended)
Step 2: Make Your Pumpkin Puree
If you don’t already have pumpkin puree on hand, you’ll want to make it now –– this will make the latte sooo much richer and better. It'll take you just a few minutes, and you probably already have the only ingredient you’ll need: a pumpkin! Check out our simple pumpkin puree tutorial here.
Step 3: Froth Your Oat Milk
If you’ve got a milk frother, use that. If you’re a manual frother like us, we like to use a Mason jar here. Simply add the oat milk to a Mason jar, seal the lid, and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. It’ll be nice and frothy!
Step 4: Whisk Together Your Pumpkin Mixture
Grab a mug and whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
Step 5: Add Your Coffee and Frothed Milk
Pour your freshly brewed coffee into the mug with your pumpkin mixture and stir. Then pour in your beautifully frothed oat milk.
Step 6: Top with Whipped Cream and (Optional) Pumpkin Pie Spice
Finish your latte off with some whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice and/or cinnamon. (That sprinkle of spice on top is what really transforms this into a cozy fall dream!)
