How to Arrange Finger Sandwiches on a Serving Tray

Step 1: Gather your supplies.

- Finger sandwiches

- Serving tray

- A spreader

- Toothpicks or skewer sticks

- Garnishes (optional)

Step 2: Prep your sandwiches

- Cut off crusts to create finger sandwiches. Slice each into thirds or halves, depending on the original sandwich size.

Step 3: Create height by stacking finger sandwiches

- Place a piece of parchment paper underneath to prevent sticking.

- Alternate different varieties of finger sandwiches into stacks of three or four. Use two slices of bread facing out for each stack, so all four sides of your sandwiches are visible.

Step 4: Arrange the stacks on your serving platter.

- Place the tallest stacks in the center and work your way out with smaller stacks. This adds height and visual appeal.

Step 5: Add garnishes (optional).

- Use toothpicks to add fresh herbs, olives, or other small garnishes to the edges of your platter or stacks.
