* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon cornstarch
* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
* 1 tablespoon minced garlic
* 1 tablespoon minced ginger
* 1/4 cup chopped green onions
1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the chicken feet and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
2. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, sugar, white pepper, and salt. Add the chicken feet and toss to coat.
3. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and vegetable oil. Add to the chicken feet and toss to coat.
4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken feet and cook for 5 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
5. Add the garlic, ginger, and green onions and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
6. Add 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the chicken feet are tender.
7. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
* To clean the chicken feet, use a sharp knife to remove the nails and any tough skin.
* You can also use a pair of kitchen shears to trim the chicken feet.
* If you don't have any Chinese cooking wine, you can substitute with dry sherry.
* Serve the chicken feet with your favorite dipping sauce, such as soy sauce, chili sauce, or black vinegar.
