How to Make Hot Chocolate Out of Chips

### Ingredients

- Milk (whole milk works best)

- Chocolate Chips (semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips work best)

- Vanilla Extract (optional)

- Whipped Cream (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prep the Mug

- Grab a microwave-safe mug that holds at least 12 ounces.

- Place a small (about 2 oz) handful of chocolate chips into the mug.

2. Heat the Milk

- Pour about 8 ounces of milk into a microwave-safe container (a glass measuring cup works well).

- Place the milk in the microwave and heat on high for 1 minute, or until hot but not boiling.
