How to Fix Too Much Lime Juice in Guacamole

If you've added too much lime juice to your guacamole, there are a few things you can do to try and balance out the flavor.

1. Add more salt. Salt can help to cut the acidity of the lime juice. Start by adding a small amount of salt and then taste the guacamole. Continue to add salt until the lime juice flavor is balanced out.

2. Add more avocado. This will help to dilute the lime juice flavor. Simply mash up some more avocados and then add them to the guacamole.

3. Add some chopped tomatoes. Tomatoes also have a slightly acidic flavor, so they can help to balance out the lime juice. Dice some tomatoes and then add them to the guacamole.

4. Add some chopped onions. Onions can also help to balance out the lime juice flavor. Dice some onions and then add them to the guacamole.

5. Add some chopped cilantro. Cilantro is a flavorful herb that can help to add depth of flavor to the guacamole. Chop some cilantro and then add it to the guacamole.

Once you've added one or more of these ingredients, taste the guacamole again. If it's still too sour, you can repeat the process until you're happy with the flavor.

Here are some additional tips for making guacamole:

* Use ripe avocados. Ripe avocados will have a deep green color and will feel slightly soft when you press them.

* Use fresh lime juice. Fresh lime juice will have a brighter, more flavorful taste than bottled lime juice.

* Don't over-mash the avocados. If you over-mash the avocados, the guacamole will become too soft and mushy.

* Guacamole is best served fresh. If you're not going to eat it immediately, store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Guacamole can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
