* 1/4 cup sparkling rosé wine
* 1/4 cup water
* 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
* 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
* 1 tablespoon honey
* 1 teaspoon rose water
* 2 drops red food coloring
* 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
1. In a small saucepan, combine the sparkling rosé wine and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
2. Add the sugar and stir until it is completely dissolved.
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the gelatin powder. Stir until the gelatin powder is completely dissolved.
4. Stir in the honey, rose water, and food coloring.
5. Pour the mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
6. When the gummies are set, cut them into small pieces.
7. In a small bowl, combine the vegetable oil and a few tablespoons of granulated sugar.
8. Toss the gummy bears in the oil and sugar mixture to coat.
9. Store the gummy bears in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
* To make the gummies extra sparkly, add a few tablespoons of edible glitter to the mixture.
* For a more intense rose flavor, use rose-flavored sparkling water instead of regular sparkling water.
* If you don't have a loaf pan, you can also use a 9x13 inch baking dish. Just be sure to cut the gummies into smaller pieces.
* Gummy bears can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
