How to Freeze Flowers in Ice

### Materials

- Flowers

- Water

- Ice cube trays

- Freezer

Steps

1. Choose flowers that are fresh and in bloom.

2. Cut the stems to about 1 inch long.

3. Fill the ice cube trays with water.

4. Place one flower in each ice cube compartment, stem-down.

5. Place the ice cube trays in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours.

6. Once the ice cubes are frozen, remove them from the freezer and transfer them to a resealable plastic bag.

7. Store the ice cubes in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Tips

- To add a touch of color to your ice cubes, use different colored flowers.

- Experiment with different flower shapes and sizes.

- Add a few drops of essential oil to the water before freezing to add fragrance to the ice cubes.
