### Butter Rum Flavoring

Ingredients:

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

- 1/4 cup dark rum

- 1/4 cup pure vanilla extract

- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.

2. Add the rum, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon and mix until combined.

3. Transfer the butter rum mixture to a covered container and refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours.

4. When ready to use, scoop the butter rum flavoring into balls and add to your favorite recipes.

Tips:

- If you don't have a stand mixer, you can also cream the butter and sugar together by hand using a wooden spoon.

- You can use any type of dark rum you like, but a spiced rum will give the flavoring extra depth of flavor.

- Be sure to refrigerate the butter rum mixture until it is firm before using. This will help it to hold its shape when added to recipes.
