__Ingredients:__
- ### 1 cup (240 ml) of milk
- ### 1 cup (200 g) of sugar
- ### 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ### 1-2 tablespoons of chocolate chips or other mix-ins (optional)
- ### Two plastic bags (one larger and one smaller)
__Instructions:__
1. ### Mix the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and mix-ins in the smaller plastic bag. If the mix won’t move or mix very well, you can squish the bag in your hand. Seal the bag well and set aside.
2. ### Now, fill the larger bag about halfway full with ice.
3. ### Add salt. Sprinkle the ice completely with salt. Use plenty of it! The ice crystals should become bigger.
4. ### Place the smaller bag into the larger bag of ice. Make sure the small bag is completely covered in the ice.
5. ### Shake it! Start shaking the bags. It’ll take a bit of effort at first, but things will get easier as the liquid turns into ice cream. Shake for about 15 minutes, or until the mixture in the smaller bag has a thick, icy texture.
6. ### When it's done, rip open the small bag. Eat the ice cream or keep it in the freezer to enjoy later!
