How to Make Barbacoa Tacos

Barbacoa tacos are a delicious and flavorful Mexican dish that is perfect for a party or a special occasion. They are made with slow-cooked beef that is shredded and then served on a warm tortilla with your favorite toppings.

Here are the ingredients you will need to make barbacoa tacos:

* 3 pounds chuck roast

* 2 tablespoons chili powder

* 1 tablespoon ground cumin

* 1 tablespoon dried oregano

* 1 teaspoon salt

* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

* 1 medium onion, chopped

* 2 cloves garlic, minced

* 1/4 cup chicken broth

* 12 corn tortillas

* Shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa, for serving

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the chuck roast.

2. Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the chuck roast and sear it on all sides until it is browned.

3. Add the onion, garlic, and chicken broth to the pot. Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for 2-3 hours, or until the chuck roast is fall-apart tender.

4. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

5. Shred the chuck roast with two forks.

6. Place a tortilla on a baking sheet. Spread some shredded beef on the tortilla, and then top it with cheese, sour cream, and salsa.

7. Fold the tortilla in half and bake it in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 with the remaining tortillas.

Serve the barbacoa tacos with your favorite toppings, such as guacamole, black beans, or rice. Enjoy!
