How to Make Beer Salt

Ingredients:

- 1 cup kosher salt

- 1/4 cup malted barley flour

- 1/4 cup cornstarch

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar

- 2 tablespoons paprika

- 2 teaspoons garlic powder

- 2 teaspoons onion powder

- 1 teaspoon celery salt

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the salt, malted barley flour, cornstarch, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt, and black pepper.

2. Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 15 minutes, stirring once or twice during baking.

4. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

5. Store in an airtight container.

Tips:

- For a more robust flavor, use smoked salt instead of kosher salt.

- If you don't have malted barley flour on hand, you can substitute with all-purpose flour.

- Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste.
