How to Remove Paint From Stained Wood Trim

Materials:

- Wood stripper

- Plastic scraper

- Sandpaper

- Safety glasses

- Gloves

Instructions:

1. Put on your safety glasses and gloves.

2. Apply wood stripper to a small area of the stained wood trim with a paintbrush. Be sure to follow the directions on the wood stripper container.

3. Wait for the wood stripper to sit for the amount of time specified on the container.

4. Use a plastic scraper to remove the softened paint from the wood trim. Work in small sections, and be careful not to damage the wood.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 until all of the paint has been removed from the wood trim.

6. Sand the wood trim with sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges.

7. Clean the wood trim with a damp cloth to remove any remaining wood stripper or dust.

8. Let the wood trim dry completely before applying new paint or stain.
