How to Clean Blood Stains From Leather

Supplies:

* Clean cloth or sponge

* Mild dishwashing liquid

* Cold water

* Rubbing alcohol (optional)

* Leather cleaner (optional)

Instructions:

1. Blot up the stain as soon as possible. Don't rub it, as this can spread the stain and make it more difficult to remove.

2. Test a small area of the leather. Apply a small amount of dishwashing liquid and water to a hidden part of the leather. If the leather doesn't discolor or change texture, you can proceed with cleaning the stain.

3. Clean the stain with dishwashing liquid and water. Apply a mixture of dishwashing liquid and cold water to the stain. Use a clean cloth or sponge to gently blot the stain until it starts to lift. Rinse the cloth or sponge frequently as needed to prevent the spread of the stain.

4. Rinse the area with cold water. Once the stain is removed, rinse the area thoroughly with cold water to remove any residual dishwashing liquid.

5. Dry the area with a clean cloth. Blot the area until it is dry to the touch.

6. Use rubbing alcohol. (optional) If the stain persists, you can try using a cotton ball dampened with rubbing alcohol. Rub the cotton ball over the stain in small circles until it disappears.

7. Use a leather cleaner. (optional) If you have a leather cleaner, you can also use that to clean the stain. Follow the directions on the product label for best results.

Tips:

* Always test a small area of the leather before using any cleaning solution.

* Don't rub the stain, as this can damage the leather.

* If the stain does not come out completely, you may need to take the item to a professional leather cleaner.
