How to Clean an Air Mattress

Air mattresses are mattresses that can be deflated for storage and inflated for use. They are handy to have around your home so guests have a comfortable place to sleep while they are visiting, or just for your own use. Most air mattresses are much cheaper than traditional mattresses. Also, air mattresses are easier to clean since they usually have a smooth surface and can be wiped down easily.

• Vacuum
• Cloth
• Rubbing alcohol

     Remove the sheets from the air mattress. Place the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner and vacuum up any crumbs or dust from the surface of the air mattress.

     Pour the rubbing alcohol onto the cloth until it is moist. Wipe down the air mattress with the cloth. Scrub any areas that are stained.

     Rinse the cloth with water and wipe the air mattress with it to remove most of the alcohol smell.
