* Empty the water reservoir after each use.
* Clean the carafe and filter basket daily with hot, soapy water.
* Keep the coffee maker in a well-ventilated area.
Cleaning
1. Gather your supplies.
- White vinegar
-Water
-Dish soap
-Microfiber or lint-free cloth
2. Run a vinegar solution through the coffee maker.
Fill the water reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water.
3. Brew a pot of coffee using the vinegar solution.
4. Let the coffee maker sit for 30 minutes.
5. Brew a pot of coffee using only water.
This will rinse out the vinegar solution.
6. Wash the carafe and filter basket with hot, soapy water.
7. Wipe down the outside of the coffee maker with a microfiber or lint-free cloth.
Deep cleaning
1. Disassemble the coffee maker.
Remove the water reservoir, carafe, and filter basket.
2. Wash all of the removable parts in hot, soapy water.
3. Scrub the inside of the coffee maker with a soft brush and a vinegar-based cleaning solution.
4. Rinse the inside of the coffee maker with clean water.
5. Reassemble the coffee maker and brew a pot of coffee to test it.
Additional tips
* Clean the coffee maker more frequently if you live in a humid climate.
* If the coffee maker starts to produce mold again, repeat the cleaning process.
