How to Clear a Fujitsu 4500 Fan Filter Alarm

The Fujitsu Flashwave 4500 is a multiservice provisioning platform. The Fujitsu 4500 platform supports a wide range of Ethernet interfaces and features, and can be as a hybrid multiservice switching platform. Like a PC tower, the Fujitsu 4500 uses a cooling fan to keep processors cooled down during use. If the fan filter becomes dirty, the system sets off an alarm to let the user know it is time to clean or replace the filter. The fan filter alarm has to be cleared from the system after going off.

     Scroll through the "Utilities" menu and select "alarm codes" by hitting the "Enter" key.

     Scroll down to the "Fan Filter" alarm selection and press the "Enter."

   • 3

     Select "Clear Alarm Code" and hit "Enter." This will clear the alarm code.
