How to Cut 45 Degree Angle Cuts on Wood Trim

Tools Needed

* Miter saw

* Tape measure

* Pencil

* Safety glasses

Instructions:

1. Using the tape measure, mark 45-degree angle cuts on the corners of the wood trim.

2. Put on your safety glasses.

3. Set the miter saw to 45 degrees.

4. Clamp the wood trim to the miter saw.

5. Make the cuts.

6. Repeat steps 3-5 for each piece of wood trim that needs to be cut.

Tips:

* Use a stop block to ensure that your cuts are all the same length.

* When cutting wood trim, it is important to make sure that the blade of the saw is sharp. A dull blade can cause the wood trim to splinter or chip.

* Be careful not to overcut the wood trim. If you overcut, the trim will be too short and will not fit properly.

* Always measure twice and cut once to avoid any mistakes.
