3. Stitch the fabric strips together using a sewing machine
- Use a stretch stitch (e.g., straight stitch with a long stitch length or zigzag stitch) with a stitch length of 3 mm.
- Overlap the fabric strips by 1 inch (2.5 cm) and sew them together, ensuring that the fabric edges are aligned.
- Trim the excess fabric from the seam allowance to 1/4 inch (0.5 cm).
Note: Be sure to test your sewing machine settings on a scrap of fabric to ensure that the stitches are secure.
4. Press and flatten the seams
- Gently iron the seams flat so they lay nicely against the fabric.
5. Continue stitching the fabric strips together
- Repeat steps 2 or 3 until all the fabric strips are stitched together.
