How to Mount a Pegboard Cinderblock Wall

## Tools and Materials

You will need the following tools and materials:

* Cinderblocks

* 1x4 pine boards

* 2x4 pine boards

* 1/4-inch lag bolts

* 1/2-inch lag bolts

* Washers

* Nuts

* Hand saw or miter saw

* Drill

* Level

* Measuring tape

* Pencil

Instructions

1. Build the frame. Cut the 2x4 pine boards to the following lengths:

* 4 pieces at 16 inches long

* 4 pieces at 24 inches long

Assemble the frame by attaching the 16-inch pieces to the 24-inch pieces with 1/2-inch lag bolts and washers.

2. Attach the cinderblocks to the frame. Place the cinderblocks on the ground in the desired configuration. Set the frame on top of the cinderblocks and align the holes in the frame with the holes in the cinderblocks. Insert 1/4-inch lag bolts through the holes and secure them with washers and nuts.

3. Attach the pegboard to the frame. Cut the 1x4 pine boards to the following lengths:

* 12 pieces at 12 inches long

Attach the pegboard to the frame by nailing the 1x4 pine boards to the frame.

4. Level the wall. Use a level to make sure that the wall is level. If the wall is not level, shim the bottom of the cinderblocks with scrap wood.

5. Enjoy your new pegboard wall! You can now use the pegboard to store tools, gardening supplies, or anything else you need.

Tips

* When attaching the cinderblocks to the frame, be sure to use washers between the cinderblocks and the frame. This will help to prevent the cinderblocks from cracking.

* If you are using the pegboard wall to store heavy items, be sure to use heavy-duty lag bolts and washers.

* You can paint or stain the pegboard wall to match your décor.
