How to Make a Poseidon Costume

Step 1: Gather your materials.

* White fabric (at least 2 yards)

* Blue fabric (at least 1 yard)

* Gold trim

* Trident (you can buy one online or make your own)

* Seashells

* Fishnet tights

* Sandals

* Beard (optional)

* Wig (optional)

Step 2: Cut out the fabric.

* Cut out two rectangles of white fabric, each measuring 36 inches by 54 inches.

* Cut out one rectangle of blue fabric, measuring 18 inches by 54 inches.

Step 3: Sew the fabric together.

* Sew the two white rectangles together along the long edges, right sides together.

* Press the seam open.

* Sew the gold trim around the neckline and hem of the toga.

Step 5: Add the seashells.

* Glue the seashells to the toga in a random pattern.

Step 6: Add the fishnet tights and sandals.

* Put on the fishnet tights and sandals.

Step 7: Add the beard and wig (optional).

* If you want, add a beard and wig to complete your Poseidon costume.

Step 8: Enjoy your costume!
