1. In a large bowl, combine the water and cornstarch. Stir until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.

3. Pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

* To make the ice chalk more durable, you can add a little bit of salt to the water before freezing.
