Instructions:
1. Safety First: Put on your safety glasses, work gloves, and dust mask to protect yourself during the process.
2. Break Up the Stucco: Use a hammer or mallet and a cold chisel or pry bar to break up the larger chunks of dried stucco. Focus on the edges of the stucco where it meets the concrete.
3. Scrape Off the Stucco: Continue using the hammer and chisel or pry bar to scrape off the smaller pieces of stucco. Be careful not to damage the concrete walkway underneath.
4. Rinse with Water: Use a garden hose with a nozzle to rinse off the loose stucco debris from the walkway.
5. Scrub with Detergent: Mix a solution of detergent and water in a bucket. Dip the scrub brush into the solution and start scrubbing the walkway to remove any remaining stucco residue.
6. Rinse Again: Rinse the walkway thoroughly with the garden hose to remove the detergent and any remaining stucco particles.
7. Vacuum the Walkway: Use a shop vacuum to vacuum up the smaller pieces of stucco and any remaining debris from the walkway.
8. Smooth Out the Surface: If there are any rough edges or uneven areas, you can use a trowel to smooth out the surface of the concrete.
9. Allow to Dry: Let the walkway completely dry before walking or placing anything on it.
