Instructions

    • 1

Use a tape measure and a pencil to mark the wall on both sides of the closet at the height and depth you would like to install the clothes rod. If possible, use a stud sensor and choose a depth that is aligned with a wall stud.

Place the mounting bracket against the wall at the determined location and use a pencil to mark the screw placement holes. Use a drill to create pilot holes, then use the supplied screws to fasten the mounting bracket to the wall. If the closet wall does not have studs to fasten the brackets to, use a hammer to lightly tap drywall anchors into the screw holes before fastening the screws. Repeat on the other side of the closet.

Place an end of the wooden dowel in each mounting bracket, cutting the dowel to size as necessary.
