How to Replace Mobile Home Paneling With Drywall

* Hammer

* Utility knife

* Tape measure

* Chalk line

* Drywall saw

* Drywall screws

* Joint compound

* Sandpaper

* Paint

Instructions:

1. Remove the mobile home paneling. Use a pry bar and a hammer to carefully remove the paneling from the walls of the mobile home. Be careful not to damage the underlying walls.

2. Measure the walls and cut the drywall. Use a tape measure to measure the walls of the mobile home. Cut the drywall to size using a drywall saw.

3. Install the drywall. Attach the drywall to the walls of the mobile home using drywall screws. Make sure the drywall is level and plumb.

4. Apply joint compound. Use a putty knife to apply joint compound to the seams between the drywall panels. Let the joint compound dry completely.

5. Sand the joint compound. Use sandpaper to smooth the joint compound.

6. Paint the walls. Paint the walls of the mobile home with the desired color of paint.
