How to Remove the Radiator Drain Plug in a 2001 Dodge Ram

1. Locate the radiator drain plug. The radiator drain plug is usually located on the bottom of the radiator, near the driver's side.

2. Prepare a drip pan. Place a drip pan under the radiator drain plug to catch any coolant that may come out.

3. Open the radiator drain plug. Use a wrench to open the radiator drain plug. Be careful, as the coolant may be hot.

4. Drain the coolant. Allow the coolant to drain completely into the drip pan.

5. Close the radiator drain plug. Once the coolant has drained completely, close the radiator drain plug. Tighten the plug until it is snug.

6. Refill the radiator with coolant. Fill the radiator with coolant until the fluid reaches the "full" mark on the radiator.
