How to Cut Header Casings

Header casings are installed near the top of doors and windows. Header casings are important trims to frames of doorways and windows. Apart from hiding the gap between the lintel and the wall framing, header casings can also serve as an ornamental improvement. It is possible to select a given style to make the header casings. Header casings end in miter joints. They must be measured and cut to perfection to give an overall fitted look.
