What Is a Zombie Glass?

A “zombie glass” got its name because it makes a person look a little like the undead. Fill the glass with blood-red liquid—maybe a strawberry daiquiri or another fruity cocktail—and then top it with a little cream. The glass has several indents in it, designed to hold small ice cubes. As you drink, the ice cubes slide down slowly into the liquid. The idea is that the cream keeps the ice cubes bobbing up and down the surface of the drink, as if they are coming up for air. Hence, zombie glass.
