How to Add a Touch Control Lamp Switch on to a Lamp

A touch-control lamp is very convenient. It enables you to turn the lamp on or off and control the brightness of the bulb by simply touching any metal part of the lamp. If you desire the functionality of touch-control but do not want to purchase a new lamp, you can convert your existing lamp into a touch-control lamp. Touch-control switches are available where lamps are sold or in the lighting department of your local home center.
