How to Light a Miller Furnace

1. Turn on the gas supply to the furnace. The gas supply valve is usually located on the outside of the furnace, near the bottom. Turn the valve clockwise to open it.

2. Turn on the power to the furnace. The power switch is usually located on the inside of the furnace, near the top. Flip the switch to the "On" position.

3. Set the thermostat to the desired temperature. The thermostat is usually located on the wall in the room where the furnace is located. Set the thermostat to the temperature you want the room to be.

4. Press the "Start" button on the furnace. The "Start" button is usually located on the inside of the furnace, near the bottom. Press the button once to start the furnace.

5. Listen for the furnace to ignite. You will hear a clicking sound when the furnace ignites.

6. Check the pilot light. The pilot light is a small flame that is located on the inside of the furnace. It should be burning blue. If the pilot light is not burning, you may need to relight it.

7. Let the furnace run for a few minutes. The furnace will need a few minutes to warm up. Once it is warmed up, it will begin to circulate hot air throughout your room.

Here are some additional tips for lighting a Miller furnace:

* If the furnace does not ignite, check the gas supply valve and make sure it is open all the way.

* If the pilot light does not light, you may need to clean the pilot light orifice. The pilot light orifice is a small hole located on the side of the pilot light.

* If the furnace does not stay lit, you may need to replace the thermocouple. The thermocouple is a small metal rod that is located near the pilot light.

If you are having trouble lighting your Miller furnace, you may need to call a qualified technician for assistance.
