* Fresh flowers
* Floral wire
* Floral tape
* Scissors
* Pin
* Ribbon
Trim the stems of the flowers to about 4 inches long. Remove any leaves that will be visible on the corsage.
Take one flower stem, about 18 inches long, and attach a piece of floral wire to the stem. Make sure the wire is firmly secure to give it strength. Leave a few inches of wire at top and repeat with the other stem.
Now that both the flowers are wired, arrange them together to form a bunch and twist both the wires together.
At this stage, you can choose to add greenery and more flowers to the corsage. Add greenery and flowers to the arrangement by wiring them and simply twisting them together with the rest.
Wrap the stems with floral tape, starting at the base of the flowers and working down. Wrap tightly so that the tape is secure.
Once the stems are covered, fold a small piece of ribbon in half and tie it around the corsage. Add greenery or baby’s breath and adjust the shape as desired.
Add the pin to the back of the corsage, using floral tape to secure it in place.
Your birthday corsage is now complete!
