How to Make a Hershey Bar Costume

Materials:

* Brown felt (1 yard)

* White felt (1/2 yard)

* Black felt (1/4 yard)

* Fabric glue

* Scissors

* Measuring tape

* Paper for a template

Instructions:

#### 1. Create a template:

* On a piece of paper, draw a rectangle that is 24 inches wide by 36 inches long.

* Cut out the template.

#### 2. Cut the felt:

* From the brown felt, cut out two rectangles using the template.

* From the white felt, cut out one rectangle that is 24 inches wide by 18 inches long.

* From the black felt, cut out two rectangles that are 3 inches wide by 4 inches long.

#### 3. Assemble the costume:

* Lay one of the brown felt rectangles on a flat surface.

* Glue the white felt rectangle to the center of the brown felt rectangle.

* Fold the bottom edge of the brown felt up 1 inch and glue it in place to create a hem.

* Fold the top edge of the brown felt up 2 inches and glue it in place to create a hem.

* Fold the side edges of the brown felt in 1 inch and glue them in place to create hems.

* Glue the black felt rectangles to the front of the costume, 6 inches from the top edge and 6 inches from each side.

* Repeat steps 4 and 5 to create the other side of the costume.

#### 4. Wear your costume:

* To wear the costume, put it on over your head.
