How to Mix Polyester Resin

- Polyester resin

- Hardener

- Mixing container

- Stir stick

Instructions:

1. Measure out the correct amount of polyester resin (2:1 ratio of resin for every part of hardener).

2. Add the hardener to the resin.

3. Stir the mixture thoroughly mixture until it is well combined and there are no streaks of resin or hardener.

*Be careful not to over mix, as this can cause the resin to harden too quickly.*

4. If you accidentally add too much hardener don’t panic. You can add a little more resin to fix it.

- Mix the resin in a well-ventilated area.

- Wear gloves and eye protection when working with resin.

- Resin hardens quickly so it is important to work quickly when mixing it.

- Clean up any spills immediately with acetone.
