* Wax flakes or soy wax
* Wicks
* Mason jars
* Essential oils (optional)
1. Place the wax flakes or soy wax in a microwave-safe bowl.
2. Microwave the wax on high for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until it is completely melted.
3. Add a few drops of essential oil, if desired.
4. Pour the melted wax into the Mason jars, leaving about 1/2 inch of space at the top.
5. Insert the wicks into the wax, centering them in the jars.
6. Let the wax cool and harden completely, which can take several hours or overnight.
7. Once the wax has hardened, trim the wicks to about 1/4 inch long.
8. Place the wax warmer inserts in your wax warmer and enjoy!
* You can use any type of wax flakes or soy wax for this project.
* If you don't have essential oils, you can also use fragrance oil or candle dye to scent the wax.
* Be careful not to overheat the wax, as this can cause it to scorch.
* Let the wax cool and harden completely before using it.
* Trim the wicks to about 1/4 inch long before using them.
