How to Make a Chariot Craft for Children

* 2 paper plates

* 1 cardboard tube (from a paper towel roll or toilet paper roll)

* Crayons or markers

* Glue

* Scissors

* String

* 2 wooden beads

Instructions

1. Decorate the paper plates however you like. You can draw pictures of animals, people, or anything else you can think of.

2. Cut out the paper plates.

3. Glue the cardboard tube to the center of one of the paper plates.

4. Glue the other paper plate to the opposite side of the cardboard tube.

5. Cut a piece of string about 2 feet long.

6. Thread the string through the holes in the wooden beads.

7. Tie the ends of the string together to make a loop.

8. Place the chariot on a flat surface and put the beads in the holes in the cardboard tube.

9. Pull on the string to move the chariot.
