How to Make a Copper Pipe and Leather Wine Rack

* 1/2-inch copper pipe (about 10 feet)

* 1-inch copper pipe (about 2 feet)

* Copper pipe fittings (elbows, tees, caps)

* Leather straps (about 10 feet)

* Rivets

* Drill

* Saw

* Tape measure

* Level

Instructions

1. Cut the copper pipe to the following lengths:

* 4 pieces of 1-inch copper pipe, each 6 inches long

* 4 pieces of 1/2-inch copper pipe, each 12 inches long

* 4 pieces of 1/2-inch copper pipe, each 18 inches long

2. Assemble the copper pipe frame as shown in the diagram below. Use copper pipe fittings to connect the pieces of pipe.

3. Cut the leather straps to the following lengths:

* 4 pieces of leather, each 24 inches long

* 4 pieces of leather, each 36 inches long

4. Rivet the leather straps to the copper pipe frame as shown in the diagram below.

5. Hang the wine rack on a wall using screws or nails.

Tips

* Use a saw with a metal-cutting blade to cut the copper pipe.

* Be careful not to over-tighten the copper pipe fittings.

* Use a level to make sure the wine rack is hanging straight.

* This wine rack can hold up to 12 bottles of wine.
