* Stud finder
* Level
* Pencil
* Measuring tape
* Phillips head screwdriver
* Drill
* 1/8 inch drill bit
* 2 inch wood screws
* Washers
* Wall anchors (optional)
* Wood display case
* Mounting brackets (if included with the display case)
2. Prepare the hanging location.
* Choose a wall that is sturdy and has studs to support the weight of the display case.
* Find the studs using a stud finder and mark their locations with a pencil.
3. Install the mounting brackets.
* If the display case came with mounting brackets, install them according to the manufacturer's instructions.
* If the display case did not come with brackets, you can use heavy-duty L-brackets or another suitable type of bracket.
4. Attach the display case to the wall.
* Place the display case against the wall and align it with the mounting brackets.
* Use a drill to drill 1/8 inch pilot holes through the mounting holes in the display case and into the wall studs.
* Insert the wood screws through the mounting holes and into the wall studs. Tighten the screws until the display case is securely attached to the wall.
5. Add washers.
* If there is a gap between the display case and the wall, add washers to the screws to fill the gap.
6. Install wall anchors (optional).
* If the wall is not made of a sturdy material, such as drywall, you may need to install wall anchors before hanging the display case.
* Drill holes for the wall anchors and insert them into the holes.
* Tighten the screws into the wall anchors until they are secure.
* Hang the display case on the wall anchors.
7. Level the display case.
* Use a level to make sure the display case is hanging straight.
* If the display case is not level, loosen the screws and adjust it until it is level.
8. Tighten the screws.
* Once the display case is level, tighten the screws to secure it to the wall.
9. Secure objects in display case (if desired)
Decorate your display case with items of your choosing.
