How to Make Baby Shower Booties Out of Tissues

### Materials

* 2 Kleenex tissues per bootie

* A pencil or pen

* Scissors

* A glue stick

* A ribbon (optional)

Instructions

1. Trace a circle on the Kleenex tissue. Use the pencil or pen to trace a circle that is about 2 inches in diameter. Cut out the circle.

2. Repeat step 1 for the second Kleenex tissue.

3. Fold one of the circles of Kleenex in half twice. Fold it in half horizontally, and then fold it in half vertically.

4. Unfold the circle of Kleenex and apply glue stick to one of the halves. Spread the glue stick evenly over the surface of the half of the circle.

5. Fold the other circle of Kleenex in half once. Fold it in half vertically.

6. Place the folded circle of Kleenex on top of the glued half of the unfolded circle. Center it so that the edges of the two circles match up.

7. Press down on the folded circle of Kleenex to adhere it to the glued half of the unfolded circle.

8. Trim any excess tissue from the edges of the bootie.

9. Add a ribbon if desired. Cut a piece of ribbon that is about 6 inches long. Tie the ribbon around the top of the bootie.

Tips

* To make the booties more durable, you can laminate them with clear contact paper.

* You can also decorate the booties with glitter, pom poms, or other embellishments.

* These booties are a fun and easy way to add a personal touch to your baby shower. They're also a great way to use up leftover Kleenex tissues.
