# How to Make Fleur De Lis Designs for the Wall

- Printer
- Computer paper
- Cutting mat
- Retractable razor blade pen
- Pencil
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Painter's tape or masking tape
- Acrylic paints
- Sponge brush

Print out a fleur de lis that you like from a free clipart website.

Place the fleur de lis printout on a cutting mat.

Retract the razor blade pen and carefully cut out the inside of the fleur de lis so that you make a paper stencil.

Cut apart an old box or cereal box with a pair of scissors. Place the fleur de lis cutout on top of the cardboard.

Trace the inside of the fleur de lis onto the cardboard. Place the cardboard onto the cutting mat. Cut out the inside of the cardboard fleur de lis.

Tape the cardboard to the wall with masking tape or painter's tape. Dap a sponge brush in acrylic paint of your choice and dab the color directly through the stencil and onto the wall.
