How to Make a Centaur Costume

## Centaur Costume

Materials:

- Brown or tan felt (2 yards)

- Ivory or white felt (1 yard)

- Dark brown or black felt (1/2 yard)

- Brown or tan fleece (1 yard)

- Light brown or tan yarn

- Scissors

- Fabric glue

- Hot glue gun

- Sewing machine

- Ribbon or twine (for tie around the waist)

Instructions:

1. Cut out two rectangles of brown felt, each measuring 24" x 36". These will be the front and back of the horse body.

2. Cut out two pieces of ivory/white felt, each measuring 24" x 12". These will be the front and back of the horse's belly.

3. Cut out four pieces of dark brown/black felt, each measuring 6" x 6". These will be the horse's hooves.

4. Cut out two pieces of brown/tan fleece, each measuring 12" x 16". These will be the legs.

5. Sew the front and back of the horse's body together along the long sides.

6. Sew the two pieces of ivory/white felt together along the long sides, creating the horse's belly.

7. Glue the horse's belly to the front of the horse's body.

8. Glue the hooves to the bottom of the horse's legs.

9. Use yarn to create the horse's mane and tail.

10. Glue the mane and tail to the horse's body.

11. Wrap the ribbon or twine around the waist to secure the costume.

Tips:

- To make the costume more comfortable, you can add padding to the legs.

- You can also add a helmet for the head and a tail made from a long piece of rope or yarn.

- If you don't have a sewing machine, you can also use fabric glue to assemble the costume.
