How to Make a Beehive Costume

* Cardboard boxes (2 large, 1 medium, and 1 small)

* Yellow and black paint

* Glue

* Tape

* Scissors

* Wire

* Pipe cleaners

* Googly eyes

* Black felt

* Yellow felt

* Stuffing

Instructions:

1. Prepare the boxes. Cut the tops off of the two large boxes and the medium box. The small box will be used for the head.

2. Paint the boxes. Paint the large boxes yellow and the medium box black. Let the paint dry completely.

3. Assemble the body of the bee costume. Glue the two large boxes together side-by-side. Then, glue the medium box on top of the large boxes.

4. Add the wings. Cut four large ovals out of the black felt. These will be the wings. Glue the wings to the back of the bee costume.

5. Add the head. Glue the small box to the top of the medium box. This will be the head.

6. Add the eyes. Glue the googly eyes to the front of the head.

7. Add the antennae. Cut two long pieces of wire. Twist the wires together to make the antennae. Glue the antennae to the top of the head.

8. Add the mouth. Cut a small piece of red felt into a triangle shape. This will be the mouth. Glue the mouth to the front of the head.

9. Add the stinger. Cut a long piece of black pipe cleaner. Twist the pipe cleaner into a spiral shape. This will be the stinger. Glue the stinger to the back of the bee costume.

10. Stuff the bee costume. Stuff the bee costume with stuffing. This will help the costume to keep its shape.

11. Enjoy your bee costume! Wear the bee costume for Halloween, a costume party, or any other special event.
