How to Make a Teacup Candle

### Teacup Candle Materials:

* Teacup

* Wax

* Wick

* Wick centering device (pencil or chopstick)

* Spoon

* Scissors

Teacup Candle Instructions:

1. Prepare your teacup. Wash the teacup and make sure it is completely dry. If the teacup has any cracks or chips, it is not suitable for use as a candle.

2. Cut a piece of wick and glue it to the bottom of the teacup. The wick should be about 1 inch long. Use one drop of craft glue to anchor the bottom of the wick to the bottom corner of the teacup..

3. Add a wick centering device. This will help to keep the wick in place while the wax is cooling. A pencil or chopstick works well for this purpose. Simply place the pencil or chopstick in the center of the teacup, directly over the wick.

4. Melt the wax. You can melt the wax in a microwave or on the stovetop. If you are microwaving the wax, do so in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval. If you are melting the wax on the stovetop, use a double boiler.

5. Pour the wax into the teacup. Slowly pour the melted wax into the teacup. Be careful not to spill any wax.

6. Let the wax cool. Allow the wax to cool completely. This may take several hours.

7. Trim the wick. Once the wax has cooled, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch long.

8. Enjoy your teacup candle! Your teacup candle is now ready to use. Simply light the wick and enjoy the warm glow of candlelight.
