How to Hook Up a Washer With No Knob for Water

Moving into a home or apartment without a laundry connection does not mean you cannot hook up a washing machine. If your new place doesn't have a knob for water, buy a faucet adapter to unite one of the fill hoses on the washing machine with the threaded end of the kitchen sink faucet. These adapters are standard for use with garden hoses, which use the same diameter coupler as a washing machine hose. You can buy the adapter at a hardware store.
