Wipe the surface of your Jenn-Air radiant cooktop with a damp sponge or cloth after each use. Dry the surface with a soft, clean towel to avoid streaks and stains. Wear gloves to protect your hands from the hot surface if applicable.
Apply 2 to 4 drops of ceramic cooktop cleaner to a cool Jenn-Air cooktop every two or three days. Use a paper towel to scrub the surface of the cooktop with the cleaner to remove grease and grime.
Wipe the surface with a soft cloth to remove the ceramic cooktop cleaner residue.
Turn off the Jenn-Air cooktop and allow it to cool.
Hold a ceramic cooktop or razor scraper at a 20- to 30-degree angle against the cooktop surface. Scrape the baked-on soup or sauce from the cooktop. Wipe the residue from the surface with a paper towel.
Apply 1 or 2 drops of ceramic cooktop cleaner to the area. Scrub the surface with a nonabrasive scrubber sponge until you remove the burned-on soup or sauce residue. Apply an additional 1 to 2 drops of cooktop cleaner if necessary.
Wipe the surface with a clean cloth until any remaining cooktop cleaner residue disappears.
Turn on the Jenn-Air burner beneath the baked-on spill to warm the surface.
Hold the ceramic cooktop or razor scraper at a 20- to 30-degree angle against the warm surface. Scrape the baked-on sugary spill from the cooktop. Wipe the residue from the edge of the scraper between scrapes. Wear gloves to protect your hands from the warm surface to avoid an accidental burn.
Turn off the burner and allow the surface to cool. Apply 1 to 2 drops of ceramic cooktop cleaner to the surface. Scrub the cooktop with a nonabrasive scrubber sponge until you remove any remaining sugary spill residue. Apply an additional drop or so of cooktop cleaner if necessary.
Wipe the surface with a clean cloth until any remaining cooktop cleaner residue disappears.
