Check the furnace's wiring if the furnace is not operating at all and the LED light is illuminated. If the furnace fails to activate in response to a heating demand, a continuous LED light may indicate that the polarity of the furnace's 115 volt power source has been reversed. Power down the furnace and have a repair professional inspect the furnace's wiring to correct it, according to the wiring diagram in the manufacturer's manual.
Examine the pressure switch hose and furnace flue for any blockage. The GCV9's LED light will flash nine times when the furnace's high stage pressure switch circuit does not close, indicating some kind of blockage in either the furnace flue or pressure hose. Clear out any debris and run the furnace again to see if the LED light stops flashing.
Check the furnace's igniter circuit if the LED flashes eight times. This flashing indicates that the furnace's igniter has either gone out or is improperly connected so have a repair professional check the igniter's wiring or contact Goodman regarding replacement of the igniter.
