How to Replace the Socket in a GE Spacesaver Microwave Lamp

General Electric Spacesaver microwaves include an overhead oven lamp that gives you light below the microwave. There are two light bulbs in the lamp, and if the lights no longer work although the bulbs are not burned out, they may have broken or loose sockets. You can manually remove a lamp socket to replace it with a new part, which can be ordered from a GE manufacturer or purchased from an online retailer.
